It was an interesting meeting. He took the plans I’d found as a reference and had lots of good ideas, like perhaps doing a half basement instead of full. I am a little worried about it being too big and having to pare it down, so I tried to emphasize that.
He said it would be ready within two weeks. Hopefully it’ll be done by the end of the week so I can bring it to show my very interested folks when we go to visit.

It’s been two months and we’re still working on drafts. I was thinking it would be more of a process of discovery but mostly we’ve been getting back drafts that are too many square feet and less original than I’d expected. We’ll get there.
